Session description: In many ways, the COVID-19 pandemic brought a global reckoning across the luxury and fashion industry, and consumers have reacted to the ensuing cost of living crisis by embracing alternative ways of accessing.
This shift in mindsets alongside with the growing pressures from the regulators, starting with the EU, are driving change across fashion businesses who are exploring ways to be more circular from providing resale models, to leveraging AI and other technologies in their supply chain and in store, to reduce their inventory and waste.
Our presentation will look into the global consumer trends and legal framework driving more sustainable business models in the fashion industry, provide examples of case studies and conclude on the key winning strategies in this context.
